Seoul Forest to host autumn garden festivities through October

Seoul Forest, a picturesque riverside park in the city's Seongdong District, will host a variety of autumn-themed events through October as part of the Seoul International Garden Show. An "18 Recommended Autumn Gardens" guide has been created to help visitors navigate the park's diverse, seasonally-appropriate gardens, which range from tranquil spaces for strolling and relaxation to areas ideal for observing nature's transformations.

An outdoor movie series, dubbed "Garden Theater," will feature family-friendly and nature-inspired films on Friday or Saturday evenings. Titles slated to be screened include "Midnight in Paris," "My Neighbor Totoro," "Paddington 2," "Kung Fu Panda 3," and "Life Is Beautiful." These film showcases will take place between Thursday and October 24.

Additionally, the park's outdoor stage will host a mini-festival from September 18-20, featuring musical performances by both student and professional artists. Throughout the park's gardens, buskers will perform between September 18 and October. For those interested in a more immersive experience, the park will offer a series of garden-focused walking tours led by knowledgeable docents, as well as ecology sessions focusing on wetland and urban wildlife.

Nighttime nature walks will also be available, providing visitors with a unique perspective on the park's flora and fauna after dark. The Seoul International Garden Show continues through October 27, offering a full season of engaging autumn festivities in Seoul Forest.
