Russia Produces Around 3,000 Jet-Powered Drones Per Month — Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov

Russia has reached the capacity to produce around 3,000 jet-powered drones per month, according to Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an unofficial presidential adviser on defense technology. This figure was announced on air by UATV English. In the previous month, there were 1,500 jet-powered UAV attacks. Russian intelligence predicts that the country will produce 36,000-40,000 UAVs annually, which translates to more than 3,000 per month.

Beskrestnov stated that Russia will continue producing both jet-powered and conventional gasoline-engine drones, with the majority being jet-powered at around 60%. These jet-powered drones will primarily be used for attacks on non-frontline regions due to Ukrainian forces' active use of interceptors against slower targets. The Russians are also working on increasing the speed of their strike drones, while simultaneously developing other strike assets such as the Banderol and Dan-T missiles.

These new assets are expected to have speeds of 500-650 km/h and the ability to fly at low altitudes and maneuver actively, complicating the work of Ukrainian air defense. Unlike the jet-powered Shaheds, these new missiles do not have online control that would allow an operator in Russia to monitor their behavior and surrounding objects.
