Qatar condemns renewed Iranian attacks on neighboring countries

Qatar has strongly condemned the recent attacks carried out by Iran on Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait. The attacks were described as a clear violation of the affected nations' sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a direct breach of international law and UN principles. A Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement noted that the ongoing assaults are a dangerous escalation that could hinder efforts to de-escalate tensions and disrupt diplomatic initiatives aimed at reestablishing security and stability in the region.

The ministry firmly held Iran accountable for the attacks, stating it bore full legal responsibility. Qatar expressed unwavering solidarity with the neighboring countries and backed all measures taken to protect their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. The ministry urged an immediate cessation of all military actions threatening regional security and stability, while also calling for dialogue, negotiation, and adherence to diplomatic understandings to prevent further conflict.
