Private or Govt Schools: Who Dominated DG Khan Board’s 9th Class Results?

In the DG Khan Board's 9th Class Result 2026, private affiliated schools outperformed government schools in terms of pass percentage, securing a higher rate of 62.64% compared to 45.09% for government schools. This 17.55 percentage point difference demonstrates the private schools' dominance in the examination results. While government schools enrolled more candidates (52,057) than private affiliated schools (27,867), they produced fewer successful students (23,475) than their private counterparts (17,456).

Across all six districts, private schools consistently achieved higher pass percentages than government schools, with the widest gap recorded in Dera Ghazi Khan (24.49 percentage points). Private schools also performed better in both Science and General groups, with leads of 30.27 percentage points in General and 14.35 percentage points in Science.

When comparing male and female students, girls outperformed boys in both private and government institutions, with the highest pass rate among private school girls at 70.81%. Overall, private affiliated schools led the DG Khan Board's 9th Class results, outperforming government schools in pass percentage and contributing to a higher overall pass rate of 51.21%.
