Nnadozie resumes Brighton duty

Brighton Women's goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie is returning to her club following her participation in the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco, according to PUNCH Sports Extra. At the tournament, she conceded six goals as the Super Falcons were eliminated in the quarter-finals and suffered additional losses against South Africa in the FIFA Women’s World Cup playoffs.

Nnadozie faced harsh criticism for her performance, as the highly successful team failed to retain their title and failed to secure a World Cup berth. Nnadozie also earned recognition for her outstanding performance by winning the WSL Save of the Month award after a remarkable fingertip save against Liverpool, and she was shortlisted for the Save of the Season award.
