NEET MDS Round 1 Provisional Result 2026 Out At mcc.nic.in; 1,521 Candidates Allotted Seats, Grievance Window Open Till 12:30 PM

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the provisional seat allotment outcomes for NEET MDS Counselling 2026, Round 1. As of September 1, 2026, 1,521 candidates have been granted seats, with the full details encompassed in an 82-page provisional PDF. This list encompasses various quotas and categories across dental institutions participating in the process. It is important to note that the provisional result is not final and may undergo alterations before the definitive result is officially released.

Candidates are advised to meticulously review their allotment particulars and report any discrepancies through MCC's Candidate Grievances and Query Redressal System. The grievance submission deadline is set for 12:30 PM on September 2, 2026. It is crucial to understand that the provisional allotment does not grant any rights to the seat, and candidates cannot challenge the provisional result through legal means prior to the final result announcement.

The provisional allotment list includes vital information such as the candidate's rank, the quota and category of the seat, the specific dental institution, and the MDS course allotted. The top-ranked candidates, up to Rank 10, have been allocated seats in prestigious dental colleges across India, including institutions like Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, Faculty of Dental Sciences at KGMU, Lucknow, and Dr Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, AMU, Aligarh.

The allotment list also identifies candidates based on their categories such as OBC-NCL, General-EWS, Open, SC, and ST, along with specific PwD categories where applicable.

Candidates are directed to carefully cross-check their provisional allotment against their NEET MDS rank and the chosen preferences. If any discrepancies are identified, they must submit the grievance within the stipulated timeframe.
