Lee orders to mobilize all available resources to search, rescue crew of capsized tugboat

President Lee Jae Myung has directed the mobilization of all available resources to search for and rescue the crew members of a tugboat that capsized off the southeastern coast of Busan, South Korea. The 286-ton vessel, which was carrying eight crew members, flipped over in waters near Busan around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Maritime rescuers have managed to pull two crew members to safety, but one remains unconscious and the remaining six crew members are still missing.

Both President Lee and Prime Minister Han Seong-sook have emphasized the urgency of the rescue operation, with the prime minister ordering all-out efforts from various government agencies including the Coast Guard, maritime ministry, interior ministry, defense ministry, and the city of Busan.
