Lawson to drive for Red Bull in Monza with Hadjar still injured

Liam Lawson will take to the track at the Italian Grand Prix alongside Max Verstappen at Red Bull, following the team's announcement that Isack Hadjar will continue to recover from a wrist injury. The 24-year-old New Zealander, who recently finished seventh at the Dutch Grand Prix, now sits ninth in the standings with 49 points.

Red Bull's statement revealed that the team is closely monitoring Hadjar's rehabilitation and will take no unnecessary risks as he returns to competition. The injury he sustained during the summer break forced him to miss the Dutch Grand Prix. In Hadjar's absence, Yuki Tsunoda will retain his spot at Racing Bulls, the team's sister outfit, alongside British-Swedish rookie Arvid Lindblad.
