Jordaan reveals Mosimane’s key Bafana target

SAFA president Danny Jordaan has outlined coach Pitso Mosimane's key targets for Bafana Bafana. Mosimane takes over from Hugo Broos, who resigned last month following the recent FIFA World Cup. Jordaan emphasized that qualifying for the next World Cup, particularly the 2030 event co-hosted by Morocco, Portugal, and Spain, is a major objective for the South African Football Association.

This will be the first time the tournament returns to Africa since South Africa hosted it in 2010. Jordaan also highlighted the COSAFA Cup as an opportunity for players to graduate to higher levels of competition, with Mosimane confident in Bafana's performance in upcoming qualifiers against Guinea and Eritrea. Additionally, Jordaan revealed that the African Nations League, which will replace the old CHAN tournament, is another major competition Mosimane will be expected to excel in.
