Hull City make late double signing of Sorba Thomas and Christos Mouzakitis

Hull City concluded their busy summer transfer window with the signing of two new players, Sorba Thomas and Christos Mouzakitis, bringing their total number of new arrivals to 18. The club's total spend on new signings this summer has been substantial, with Thomas joining from Stoke City for around £7.5 million plus potential add-ons that could push the fee near £10m.

Thomas, a 27-year-old winger, has signed a four-year contract with the Tigers after impressing last season with 10 goals and 13 assists in 45 Championship appearances. Meanwhile, Mouzakitis, a 19-year-old midfielder, has completed his move from Olympiacos for a reported £13m fee. The Greek international has already made 39 appearances for Hull this season, featuring in all 10 of Olympiacos’ Champions League matches.

A Greece international, Mouzakitis has 11 caps and was awarded the Golden Boy Web award in 2025. Mouzakitis becomes Hull City's 18th and final signing of the summer, completing an ambitious transfer window following the club's return to the Premier League after a nine-year absence.
