Gemini can now remember where you store your belongings so you don’t have to

Google is set to introduce a new feature called Gemini that will remember where you store your belongings, eliminating the need for you to recall their locations. This update is part of the September Android Drop, which includes four other Android updates. When you inform Gemini of an item's location, such as placing your passport in the bedroom drawer, you simply need to take a photo and save it in Find Hub.

Later on, if you forget where you put the item, you can ask Gemini or open Find Hub to check the 'remembered' items tab. This feature requires Android 16 or later and is available in countries where both Gemini and Find Hub are supported. However, it's not a tracking feature; Gemini merely stores the locations you tell it. Other updates in the September Drop include Motion Assist, which helps alleviate car sickness by overlaying moving bubbles on your screen during a ride, and Guided Vision, which narrates what your camera sees during a Gemini Live session for visually impaired users.

Additionally, Google Keep will now be integrated directly into Google Messages, allowing groups to build shared lists within a conversation. Lastly, the Google CameraJet, a toothbrush with a built-in camera and AI detection system, will also be released, targeting areas that regular brushes might miss.
