Gautam Gambhir, Aaqib Javed part of same management team: Iceland Cricket creates hilarious 'international management personnel of nightmares'
With the recent management decisions making a mockery of Pakistani cricket, Iceland Cricket has now dragged Gautam Gambhir into the fray.
Iceland Cricket has created a humorous management team that highlights the recent off-field controversies in the world of international cricket. The satirical post features Gautam Gambhir as the head coach, Aaqib Javed as the head of selectors, and Imam-ul-Haq as the team physio. Iceland Cricket pointed out the ongoing chaos in major cricket boards by pairing real-life personalities with roles that emphasize their most polarizing traits or recent headlines.
The post mocks the high-pressure coaching style of Gambhir combined with Aaqib's erratic selection policies and the laid-back culture of England's Bazball team led by Rob Key and Harry Brook. The ironical setup captures the current state of international cricket administration, where off-field governance often resembles a soap opera.
