Fahmi Fadzil offers condolences to families of four killed in LPT1 crash

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 2 — Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil conveyed his condolences to the families affected by the tragic accident in Temerloh that resulted in the loss of four lives. The victims, including a family of three, were returning to Kuantan after attending the National Day celebration in Putrajaya when the collision occurred.

Fahmi also extended his condolences to the families of the three injured individuals. The accident, which involved 11 vehicles on East Coast Highway 1 (LPT1), claimed three family members, Muhammad Nazatul Nazmi, 32, his wife Nur Atiqah Sofiya Mohd Kazwan Kassim, 32, and their four-year-old son, Muhammad Armaan Nazeef, who were in a Proton S70.

Another victim, Seow Beng Wain, 55, from Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam, Selangor, died in the collision as a passenger in a Honda CR-V. The incident occurred around 10 pm yesterday and involved four cars, three SUVs, an MPV, a pickup truck, a tanker truck, and a bus. Preliminary police investigations suggested that the tanker truck, carrying cement, lost control before colliding with other vehicles traveling at a slow pace.
