Enzo Fernandez aims parting shot at Chelsea after finally getting Manchester City move

Enzo Fernandez expressed his desire to join Manchester City, viewing it as a club on par with the Premier League title winners. The World Cup winner joined City for £125 million on deadline day, breaking the British transfer record. Previously, Fernandez had moved to Chelsea from Benfica in January 2023 for £107 million, helping the team secure two Champions League titles.

Despite Chelsea's success in the Champions League, Fernandez noted the lack of competition for the Premier League title during his time at Stamford Bridge. The 25-year-old midfielder, who had pushed for the move, shared his emotions upon completing the transfer at the age of 25.
