Envoys of Japan, U.K. in Chennai call on Vijay

Japanese Consul-General Takahashi Muneo visited Chennai on Wednesday to meet with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at the Secretariat. The two men held talks during the meeting. Subsequently, British Deputy High Commissioner (in-charge) for Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry Sutapa Choudhury, along with Kripa Ramachandran, the Political Adviser at the British High Commission in India, also visited the Chief Minister and engaged in discussions with him.

Choudhury's meeting with the Chief Minister was scheduled prior to his upcoming visit to the United Kingdom, marking the first foreign trip for Vijay since assuming office.
