Enterprise Group appoints Jacqueline Benyi as Group COO, Francis Yirenkyi as acting MD of Enterprise Life

Enterprise Group Plc has announced that Jacqueline Benyi has been appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer (Life) and Francis Akoto Yirenkyi has been named acting Managing Director of Enterprise Life Ghana. These appointments, effective September 1, 2026, are aimed at strengthening the leadership structure and supporting the growth of the Group's businesses across the region.

Mrs Benyi, previously the Managing Director of Enterprise Life Ghana, will now oversee the life insurance operations in Ghana, Nigeria, and The Gambia, along with Transitions, the funeral services business of the Group. Mr Yirenkyi, who will act as Managing Director of Enterprise Life Ghana pending regulatory approval, will continue to lead the Ghanaian operation.

The company emphasized that these appointments reflect their commitment to promoting internal leadership and positioning their businesses for sustained growth. Enterprise Group, a Ghanaian financial services company, has a history dating back to 1924 and now operates through various subsidiaries, including Enterprise Insurance, Enterprise Life Assurance, and Enterprise Funeral Services Ghana (Transitions).

Enterprise Life, the Group's life insurance subsidiary, has been Ghana's leading life insurer since 2015, having started operations 15 years prior. Both Benyi and Yirenkyi have previously collaborated at Enterprise Life, with Yirenkyi serving as General Manager of Distribution and Benyi as Managing Director.
