Democrats in Massachusetts bucked a national trend and voted to back an incumbent in Congress. Sen. Ed Markey beat a primary challenge from Rep. Seth Moulton in a race that frequently focused on age and the party's direction. The results skew from a national narrative that Democratic voters are eager for younger leadership.
