Carla Jeffery, Disney’s ‘Zombies’ Actress, Dies at 33

Carla Jeffery, a talented actress best known for her role as Bree in the Disney Channel's Zombies franchise, has tragically passed away at the young age of 33. Carla's manager, Carla Alexander, confirmed the news on Tuesday, September 1, but a cause of death has not yet been released. For over 20 years, Alexander had the privilege of witnessing Carla's growth into a beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly talented woman, whose radiant smile could light up any room.

As Bree in the immensely popular Zombies series, Carla brought joy, humor, and a bright spirit to audiences worldwide. Her management statement expressed their deepest sympathies to Carla's family and loved ones during this unimaginable loss, respectfully requesting privacy during this difficult time.

While Carla is primarily remembered for her work in the Zombies franchise, including the first three movies and its animated spin-off series, her TV career also included guest appearances on several major series such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up, Best Friends Whenever, Southland, Scream Queens, and American Vandal. Her twin brother, Carlon Jeffery, is also a Disney Channel star, known for his role as Cameron Parks in the sitcom A.N.T. Farm.

Following the news of Carla's death, her co-stars and fans alike have been sharing their condolences on social media, paying tribute to the actress. Milo Manheim, who co-starred with Carla in three Zombies movies, described her as the sweetest person he has ever met.
