BOSTenergies pays GH¢34.2m dividend to Government

BOSTenergies Limited, Ghana's energy sector giant, has announced a stellar financial year in 2025, culminating in the company's first-ever dividend payment to the government. The annual performance report, presented at the 2026 Annual General Meeting in Accra, showcased impressive growth across multiple financial metrics. Revenue surged by an astounding 195%, reaching GH¢3.81 billion, while the company's profitability saw a remarkable 72% increase, yielding GH¢683.96 million in profit after tax.

Total assets expanded by 50%, amounting to GH¢3.99 billion, and shareholder equity nearly doubled to GH¢1.47 billion. Administrative costs were trimmed by 28%, underscoring the company's commitment to cost discipline. The dividend payment, representing 5% of net profit, amounted to GH¢34.2 million, marking a historic milestone for BOSTenergies.

The company's strong financial footing underscores its dedication to sound financial stewardship and sustainable value creation for shareholders and stakeholders. Managing Director Afetsi Awoonor attributed the success to a blend of commercial acumen, prudent financial management, and operational efficiency.
