Bombay HC orders CBI probe into Disha Salian's death: 'No one can be labelled accused without sufficient material'

The Bombay High Court has ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate the death of Disha Salian, the former celebrity manager, in 2020. Disha's father, Satish Salian, filed a petition against this decision. The court stated that no one should be treated as an accused without sufficient material against them.

Disha tragically fell from the 12th floor of a residential building in Mumbai's Malad area on June 8, 2020. Initially, the police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) regarding her death. In the past year, Satish filed a petition in the High Court, alleging that his daughter was raped and murdered and accusing the police of suppressing facts to protect influential people in the case.
