Ariana Grande steps out of the spotlight with gratitude at tour closing
London (AP) — Ariana Grande's final words before stepping offstage and out of the spotlight were for her fans. In her last concert in London before taking a break from the public eye, the singer expressed emotion and gratitude towards the audience. Grande referred to The Eternal Sunshine Tour as "one of the most beautiful, extraordinary experiences" of her life.
She had confirmed in August that she would take time off after the tour, which concluded with a 10-date run at London's O2 Arena. On stage, Grande admitted to being emotional about the tour's end after 41 dates, including performances in the U.S. and Canada before the U.K.
