São Paulo – In an effort to bolster relations with Arab nations, Brazil's Ambassador Carlos Sérgio Sobral Duarte visited the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) in the city on Wednesday afternoon. The ambassador's visit to the ABCC followed the Brazil & Arab Countries Economic Forum held by the chamber on August 25, which attracted approximately 1,000 attendees from around 20 countries. Ambassador Duarte spoke to ANBA about the ABCC's role in Brazil's relations with the Arab world, crediting the forum for its importance.
