Acer’s new ePaper monitor wants to make your screen time more comfortable

At the IFA 2026 press conference in Berlin, Acer introduced a range of new devices, including a portable ePaper monitor called the Acer EP130K. Designed for heavy screen users, this unique monitor stands out with its absence of backlight, offering a glare-free and blue light-free viewing experience. The EP130K is particularly beneficial for those who read, write, or work extensively on screens, as it provides comfortable viewing even in outdoor settings with harsh lighting. The monitor features touch support, allowing users to interact using a stylus or their fingers.

The Acer EP130K offers flexibility with its dual display modes: color for general use and black-and-white for tasks requiring less visual intensity.
