Zenergize Bags $4 Mn To Scale Production Of Its EV Chargers

Zenergize, a clean tech startup specializing in electric vehicle (EV) chargers, has secured $4 million in pre-Series A funding to scale its production and expand its operations in India. Led by Giraffe Studios, the round was participated in by a variety of investors including Triveni Turbine’s Nikhil Sawhney, Varun Agarwal, and Shyam Bagri, among others.

Zenergize, founded in March 2025 by IIT Bombay alumni Navneet Daga and Veer Karan Goyal, currently manufactures AC and DC chargers and solar inverters in its facility in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh, producing around 2,000 inverters and 30-40 chargers monthly. The startup plans to double its capacity in Parwanoo and establish a new facility in Delhi NCR, which will increase production to approximately 8,000 to 10,000 inverters and 70-100 DC chargers monthly.

Zenergize's products, including printed circuit boards and core power converter modules, are designed and manufactured in India, with semiconductors being the only major component sourced from overseas. The company currently generates an annual run rate of ₹35 Cr to ₹40 Cr, with plans to increase this to ₹80 Cr to ₹90 Cr by the end of 2026.

This funding round is the startup's second in the past year, following a $2 million seed round in May 2025. The expansion aligns with India's growing EV charging infrastructure, with 29,151 charging stations, including 8,805 fast-charging stations, as of December 2025.
