WWE Crown Jewel to return to Saudi Arabia in November

WWE is planning to host its Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 7, marking the premium live show's return to the kingdom after moving to Perth, Australia last year. The event, part of Riyadh Season, will see champions compete in both men's and women's divisions. Last year's Crown Jewel saw Seth "Freakin" Rollins and Stephanie Vaquer become the inaugural champions, each receiving a 50-carat diamond title.

The event has been held annually in Riyadh since its inception in 2018, but was relocated to Australia in 2022. Saudi Arabia's growing influence on the WWE calendar is evident, with the kingdom hosting two major events this year, including the Royal Rumble and Night of Champions. However, a major milestone awaits in 2024, as Saudi Arabia is set to host WrestleMania 43, WWE's biggest annual event, marking the first time the prestigious show has taken place outside North America.

WWE's partnership with Saudi Arabia's General Sports Authority began in 2018, leading to a series of major shows in the country. WrestleMania 43, first announced last year, represents a significant milestone for WWE, as the flagship event will be held in Riyadh, signifying the company's ambition to expand its reach globally.
