World Jollof Day 2026: How Knorr shared goodness of jollof in communities across Nigeria

World Jollof Day 2026 took place with Knorr spreading the joy of jollof rice in Nigerian communities, particularly in Lagos and Abuja. The campaign, #TurnUpForJollof, went beyond the dinner table and onto the streets, creating unexpected moments of happiness for everyday Nigerians through traffic stops and busy locations. Knorr handed out complimentary Knorr Jollof Food Boxes to selected drivers, passengers, and commuters, including those driving green cars, female drivers, parents with children, and those wearing noticeable green attire, making the surprises unique and memorable.

In Lagos, celebrations occurred in Surulere, Yaba, Ikeja, and Lekki, while in Abuja, they were held in Kubwa. Glovo riders contributed to the festivities by delivering the delicious food boxes to Glovo riders in various traffic hotspots. The campaign was brought to life by Chef Dee, Diary Of A Kitchen Lover, and Simi Drey, whose presence and interactions added energy and excitement to the celebration.
