Recently, a new group called Build American AI has emerged to run advertisements promoting AI and data centers in key battleground states like Kansas, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

The Republican Party has also responded to concerns about AI opposition by seeking assistance from AI firms, as the party fears losing the Ohio Senate race.

Nvidia, a major player in AI technologies, has established its own PAC, NVPAC, to advocate for policies favorable to its interests. Nvidia's substantial investments in AI hardware make them a key stakeholder in this political landscape. US President Donald Trump has been closely aligned with the growth of AI, believing that the country must remain competitive against China.

He argues that communities should embrace data centers to achieve success, lower taxes, and generate more job opportunities. Trump's remarks highlight the potential consequences of opposing AI data centers, stating that doing so would result in a "backwards and poor" society.

The Trump administration has recognized the importance of AI in shaping the future of the US economy, military, and law enforcement.
