Sombr announces Malahide Castle and Belsonic gigs
Fresh from his Main Stage set at Electric Picnic, sombr has announced outdoor shows in Dublin and Belfast for next summer.
SOMBR, the New York singer, has announced two outdoor concerts for next summer. The Dublin gig will take place at Malahide Castle on Tuesday 15 June 2027, while Belfast will host Belsonic at Ormeau Park on Thursday 17 June. Suki Waterhouse will join SOMBR at both shows.
SOMBR's Electric Picnic set on Friday featured a surprise appearance by Noel and Mike Hogan of The Cranberries. The brothers joined SOMBR for a performance of their hit song, Zombie. This was not the first time the trio had shared a stage in Ireland this year; they had already performed together at Dublin's 3Arena in March, singing Linger.
SOMBR's European and UK tour, part of his You Are The Reason Tour, kicks off in Oslo on 8 May and wraps up at London's O2 on 22 June. The 21-year-old singer, whose real name is Shane Boose, gained recognition with hits like Back to Friends and Undressed. He released his debut album, I Barely Know Her, in 2025. Pre-sale for SOMBR's Irish shows begins at 10am on Wednesday 2 September, with the general sale starting at the same time on Friday 4 September.
