SCO declaration: Double standards in fight against terrorism unacceptable

The SCO leaders at the Bishkek summit have condemned the use of "double standards" in the fight against terrorism, calling for an international effort to combat the issue. The "Bishkek Declaration" adopted by India, Pakistan, Iran, Russia, China, and Central Asian nations stresses that efforts to discredit government bodies and structures of SCO member states are unacceptable and violate international law.

The declaration also condemns military strikes on Iran, which have caused civilian casualties and economic damage. India, a close ally of Israel, expressed concern over the US and Israeli actions, emphasizing the need for a political and diplomatic resolution to the conflict. The SCO reaffirmed its commitment to the UN Charter and international law, urging all member states to contribute to improving the global order and creating a "One Earth, One Family, One Future."
