Projecting Jaguars depth chart on offense after roster cutdowns

The Jacksonville Jaguars have finalized their initial 53-man roster, and an analysis can be made regarding the potential depth chart on offense for the upcoming 2023 season. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence is expected to lead the team, supported by Quinn Ewers, who was acquired through a trade with Miami and later released Nick Mullens during roster cutdowns. However, Mullens was subsequently re-added to the practice squad.

On the running back position, Bhayshul Tuten is anticipated to be the starter, with Chris Rodriguez and LeQuint Allen also factored into the depth chart as well. With Allen not participating in the latter part of training camp, Abdullah might step into the heavy passing-down role at running back if necessary.

Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, Travis Hunter, and CJ Williams are the top three options in the passing game. Hunter is mentioned to be utilized, but the extent of his early involvement remains unclear. The depth chart's tight end positions are occupied by Brenton Strange, Nate Boerkircher, Tanner Koziol, and Quintin Morris. While Morris is expected to see more action on special teams due to the summer's events, Koziol is considered the more versatile player in terms of skill set.

In terms of offensive line, Anton Harrison is expected to anchor the left tackle position. By the end of training camp, Emmanuel Pregnon is the starting left guard, followed by Hainsey, Cleveland, and Little. Once Walker Little becomes fully fit, he will be the first-choice tackle off the bench, with Cole Van Lanen expected to take the starting right tackle spot. Little will serve as the primary option off the bench, while Monheim functions as the backup center, and Little, Milum, and Faalele can all play guard roles.
