President Droupadi Murmu to visit Vadodara and Padra on September 23

President Droupadi Murmu is set to make a high-profile visit to Vadodara and Padra on September 23. The Gujarat governor will begin her day by attending the convocation ceremony at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where she will confer degrees upon deserving students. To ensure the smooth execution of this significant event, the district administration has commenced fortifying security measures and other logistical arrangements at the university campus and its surrounding areas.

As the day progresses, the President will shift her focus to Padra, where she is slated to participate in a Brahma Kumaris program on Tajpura Road. The preparations for her arrival in Padra have also been underway, with officials from various departments collaborating to manage the security, protocol, and traffic logistics effectively.

District Collector Dr Anil Dhameliya and Padra Sub-Divisional Magistrate Aishwarya Dubey recently paid a visit to the programme venue, confirming the readiness of the infrastructure. In addition to these key engagements, it has been reported that President Murmu is expected to extend her Gujarat tour to Ekta Nagar, where she may present the prestigious 72nd National Film Awards.
