Number Of Dead From Russian Ballistic Attack In Kyiv Rises To Eight

Eight people have been killed and five injured in the Russian ballistic attack on Kyiv overnight, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service. Three of the injured victims are children. The attack hit various locations in the city, including Darnytskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts. Fires broke out at two sites, with one person still in serious condition in the hospital.

In Darnytskyi, fires erupted at two locations following the strike. One building in Holosiivskyi district was destroyed, while a non-residential building in the same district had partial destruction. In Solomianskyi, a drone strike on a residential building caused partial damage. Firefighters rescued a man and a woman from the rubble, and the injured were taken to medical facilities.

Previously, it was reported that seven people were killed and six more injured in Kyiv due to a Russian ballistic strike targeting a railway depot and other railway facilities. A fifth person was also killed in Boryspil, Kyiv region, as a result of the Russian attack.
