Netflix Adding Podcasts From Katt Williams, Harlan Coben and Stephanie Soo as It Renews Initial Slate

Netflix has expanded its podcast offerings by confirming renewals for existing podcasts and unveiling new shows from popular creators Katt Williams and Harlan Coben. In a statement, Netflix Vice President of Nonfiction Series Brandon Riegg explained that podcasts provide an additional avenue for members to engage with their favorite genres, stories, and personalities.

The company has greenlit "Murder with My Husband," "The Pete Davidson Show," "Shut Up Evan," "The Puzzle Room with David Kwong," and "Allegedly with Ellison Barber" for extra episodes. Additionally, Netflix will introduce new podcast originals such as "The Rotten Files with Stephanie Soo," "Wishbone Kitchen with Meredith Hayden," "Last Trace with Kaelyn Moore," and "Couldn’t Agree Less with Allison & Isaac."

Katt Williams and Harlan Coben have also been appointed as hosts of two new podcasts, which will debut later in the year. Coben expressed enthusiasm for his partnership with Netflix, highlighting the diverse range of guests he aims to feature, including writers, artists, entrepreneurs, actors, athletes, and individuals with remarkable stories.

"The Rotten Files" and "Wishbone Kitchen" are currently streaming episodes on Netflix. Upcoming podcast premieres on the platform include "On Campus: Game of the Week" (Sept. 4), "Last Trace with Kaelyn Moore" (Sept. 28), and "Couldn’t Agree Less with Allison & Isaac" (Oct. 22). Furthermore, Netflix has secured deals to host new episodes of "Outlore with Eleanor Neal" and former ESPN analyst Ryan Clark's "The Pivot" podcast, with the latter launching on Sept.

8 and "Outlore" following on Sept. 27. This move underscores Netflix's persistent expansion into the podcasting landscape, currently boasting more than 60 podcasts on its platform, with the catalog expected to continue growing.
