National Falconry Center to host five major events for 2026 season

The National Falconry Center announced five major events for its 2026 season following a successful international falcon farm auction in Malham, north of Riyadh, which generated over 33 million riyals. The auction, held from August 5 to 25, attracted 100 production farms from 24 countries and sold 2,265 falcons. This year's auction featured a record sale of a "Mithlouth Gyr" falcon for 1.3 million riyals, the second highest price in the event's history.

In addition to the auction, the center will host the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition from October 1 to 10, followed by the Al-Milwah Race from October 4 to 9. The National Falconry Center Auction will run from October 1 to November 30, and the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival will take place from November 17 to 30.

The season will conclude with the National Falconry Center Cup from December 21 to 28, showcasing the skills and speed of local falcons. These events underscore the growing cultural, economic, and tourism aspects of falconry, as well as the center's efforts to preserve national heritage and promote Saudi Arabia as a top destination for the falconry industry.
