Moshe Har-Zion, son of Israeli hero Meir Har-Zion, joins Ofer Winter's People of Israel party

Moshe Har-Zion, the son of revered Israeli hero Meir Har-Zion, announced on Tuesday that he will be joining the People of Israel party led by Brig.-Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter. Har-Zion, a social activist and founder of the Artzi movement, will be included on the party's Knesset slate. The Artzi movement focuses on strengthening and protecting Israel's agriculture, peripheral towns, and rural areas.

Har-Zion, who currently resides in the Lower Galilee, expressed his happiness at joining the People of Israel party, stating that their values align with those he was raised with and believes in. He intends to represent the people of the land, agriculture, and rural areas within the party. Har-Zion strongly believes in the importance of bringing new forces into the political arena, especially following the October 7 attacks. He praised the People of Israel party for representing this best.
