Man City agree £65m deal for Everton’s Ndiaye

Manchester City and Everton have reached a £65 million deal to sign Senegal winger Iliman Ndiaye. The agreement for the 26-year-old includes a £60 million base fee with an additional £5 million in add-ons. Although Tottenham had previously agreed terms with Everton for Ndiaye, the move fell through when Richarlison failed to agree personal terms with his former club.

In an emotional Instagram post, Richarlison expressed his desire to return to Everton, stating, "If they reach an agreement between Spurs and Everton, I will return to my beloved club." Tottenham is now exploring the possibility of signing Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk on a season-long loan. Meanwhile, Manchester City's pursuit of Liverpool's Cody Gakpo has temporarily stalled, as Liverpool has opted to retain the 27-year-old forward.

Liverpool's interest in Gakpo stems from their desire to bolster their attacking options after completing the signing of France forward Bradley Barcola from Paris St-Germain for up to £123 million. Liverpool had considered moves for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh and Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr, but their valuations posed challenges.

It is now expected that Liverpool will keep Gakpo unless they can finalize a new winger before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
