Liverpool Complete £123m Deal For Bradley Barcola

Liverpool have finalized the acquisition of France international Bradley Barcola from Paris St-Germain in a seismic £123 million transfer. The Reds will pay an initial £106 million, with an additional £17 million forthcoming contingent on Barcola's on-field performances. PSG had initially pegged the 23-year-old at approximately £145 million.

Barcola signed a five-year deal, making him Liverpool's fifth summer signing alongside Victor Munoz, Jeremy Jacquet, Ronald Araujo, and Ifeanyi Ndukwe. The winger, donning the number 29 shirt, expressed his elation at joining Liverpool, stating his sole ambition is to take to the pitch and excel. He revealed his aspiration to win the Premier League, a goal his long-term contract underscores.

Barcola primarily plays as a left winger but can also operate in other attacking roles. His move is anticipated to bolster Liverpool's attacking options following Mohamed Salah's departure, Hugo Ekitike's long-term injury, and potential Cody Gakpo exit. Barcola had a stellar season with PSG last year, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists in 49 appearances across all competitions.

He also played in all eight of France's matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, netting three goals as the team advanced to the third-place play-off.
