La fiscal jefa de Ceuta: “Hay casi una agresión sexual al día. Hay preocupación”

Ceuta's chief prosecutor, Silvia Rojas, has warned of a concerning rise in sexual assaults, stating that nearly one incident occurs daily. The prosecutor, who has dedicated 22 years to the Ceuta Prosecutor's Office, believes that the current situation is unprecedented in the nation's history. She asserts that Ceuta cannot tackle the issue alone and lacks the necessary capacity.

Rojas explains that finding a solution for minors still roaming the streets requires assistance from other autonomous communities to take in the children and young girls. She expresses her worry over the exponential increase in sexual assaults following a massive influx on July 30. The prosecutor emphasizes the urgent need for collaboration from other regions to address this growing crisis.
