Kerala Teen's Viral Resemblance: Allen James dubbed Kerala's Yamal; hopes for Yamal message
A teenager from Kerala, Allen James, has captured the internet's attention with his remarkable likeness to football player Lamine Yamal. A video showcasing his talent has gone viral, racking up millions of views across various social media sites. As a defender with a passion for football, Allen idolizes Lionel Messi and proudly supports Argentina.
When 15-year-old Allen James from Chakkuvally, Kerala, first saw the resemblance between his features and Spanish football star Lamine Yamal, he dismissed it. Over time, however, the comparison turned into an unexpected internet sensation. A viral Instagram video posted by block panchayat member and vlogger Nikhil Manohar of Allen wearing a Yamal jersey amassed 14 million views in just a few days.
Allen, a Class 10 student at Peruvazhi Government High School, had always been told he looked like Yamal, but the internet's attention transformed it into something far bigger.
The schoolboy's social media presence skyrocketed from 200 followers to over 20,000, and he is now invited to local events as a guest. Despite the newfound fame, Allen remains grounded in his passions for football, school, and his admiration for Lionel Messi and Argentina. With his school football team and family sports background, Allen is no stranger to the sport. However, football is not just a resemblance for him, but rather a source of joy and dedication.
Despite the attention, Allen has faced some online jokes and comments, but he chooses not to take them seriously. As he enters his teenage years, the sudden fame comes with its own challenges. Yet, his ultimate desire remains simple: to hear from the player he resembles, Lamine Yamal. The internet loves a striking coincidence, and Allen's story certainly fits the bill with its young footballer and a global star whose image amplifies the resemblance.
