Kali Malone Announces New Album Burning Song: Hear “Heavy With Fruit”

Kali Malone, the Stockholm-based composer and organist, has unveiled her upcoming album "Burning Song". This marks Malone's return after releasing her last solo album, "All Life Long", in 2024. Prior to this, Malone collaborated with artists like Drew McDowall and Leila Bordreuil, and reissued her 2019 LP "The Sacrificial Code".

"Burning Song" was recorded at the renowned Thomaskirche in Leipzig, Germany. A unique aspect of this album is that Malone is the first musician to perform contemporary works on the church's Bach Organ. She is joined by Lucy Railton on cello and Stephen O Malley on bowed acoustic guitar. The lead single from the album, "Heavy With Fruit", can be heard now.

The tracklist for "Burning Song" includes "Grieving Figure", "Map The Path", "Bells On A Branch", "Crawling Ashore", "Sounding A Void", "Heavy With Fruit", and "My Eve My Dawn". The album is set to be released on October 30 via Ideologic Organ. Pre-orders are now available.
