Jay Enem joins Bologna

Bologna FC 1909 has secured the signing of striker Jay Enem from FK Crvena Zvezda on a permanent deal. The ninth Dutch player in the club's history, Enem is a center-forward born in 2003, known for his physical prowess, commanding presence in the penalty area, and ability to exploit space behind the opposition's defense. Hailing from Amsterdam, the young Dutchman initially honed his skills in youth football with AFC before progressing through the youth academies of AZ Alkmaar and Ajax, where he underwent much of his development.

Enem made his professional debut for Jong Ajax in March 2022, subsequently joining Venezia in Italy that summer. Loan spells with Vis Pesaro and Ethnikos Achna followed, leading him to Cyprus where he signed for Omonia 29M. During his stint in Cyprus, Enem scored his first professional goals, further solidifying his potential as a promising forward.

In the summer of 2025, Enem joined OFK Belgrade, where he became a pivotal player. During the first half of the 2025 season, he netted 10 goals in 17 league appearances, catching the eye of Red Star, who secured his transfer to Belgrade in January 2026. This latest move marks a significant step in the development of a young striker who has already accumulated valuable experience through various leagues and footballing environments.

Despite being relatively young, Enem brings a wealth of experience and physical attributes to the Rossoblù. The Italian club aims to capitalize on his talents, hoping he will continue his upward trajectory in European football.
