'I Married The Wrong Person': Bigg Boss Tamil Fame Pradeep Antony Announces Separation From Wife Pooja Shakthi, Says He 'Gave Up' On His Son

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7 participant Pradeep Antony recently disclosed his separation from wife Pooja Shakthi in a tearful social media post, which has since been removed. The actor confessed he had made a grave error by marrying his "wrong person" and shared how the relationship had wreaked emotional havoc on him. Pradeep kicked off his post by confessing, "I've joked about selling this baby with my friends a lot."

He married Pooja in November 2024. Reflecting on her pregnancy, Pradeep wrote, "So when Pooja got pregnant, I asked people to reserve a spot for an upcoming baby and pay me some amount in lacs for the baby." However, after the baby was born, his outlook altered. He described holding his child as "new every day" and feeling unprecedented happiness.

"But it's gone now," he wrote regarding his split from Pooja. Instagram is displaying Pradeep's post, which includes a video of moments with his child and a note stating, "This was the last I was happy with that kid." He revealed that it had been a month since his child was away from him. Pradeep, who had always envisioned a blissful family and becoming a nurturing father to offset the upbringing he endured, admitted he had gravitated towards exactly what he had dreaded.

In his revelation, Pradeep wrote, "I made a mistake. I think I married the wrong person and it's made me a very bad person everyday since." He further explained feeling estranged from his wife, writing, "I was waking up next to someone who was not part of my world and never understood or made an effort to be a part of it." He described their relationship as "two opposite people colliding everyday and hating each other for being the person they are."
