Edna Imade Siblings: All About Paul Imade

Edna Imade is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Bayern Munich in Germany's Frauen-Bundesliga and is a member of Spain's national women's team. Her mother, Floren, became pregnant with Edna and her twin brother Paul while fleeing difficult circumstances in Nigeria. The family made their way to Spain by boat, known as a patera, where their mother was taken in by nuns in Algeciras before settling in Carmona, near Seville.

Edna grew up speaking with an Andalusian accent and considers Spain her home. She has a twin brother named Paul, who was also born in Morocco. The siblings arrived in Spain as infants and play football together, with Paul being an important figure in Edna's life both on and off the pitch. Edna's football journey started in Carmona, where she played with boys during school breaks.

Her talent was noticed by a physical-education teacher, who encouraged her mother to enroll her in a local football team rather than flamenco classes. She quickly progressed through local and regional teams and earned experience as a youth referee. Her senior career began with Málaga, where she played from 2019 to 2021, followed by a stint with CD Santa Ana Femenino and AD Nervión, where she scored prolifically.

After that, she joined Granada CF, where she established herself in Spain's top league, Liga F. In 2025, she signed a four-year contract with Bayern Munich and was immediately loaned to Real Sociedad for the 2025-26 season, where she scored 11 goals in 12 league matches. She was recalled to Bayern Munich early in January 2026 and has since contributed goals in the Bundesliga.

Internationally, Edna became a Spanish citizen and made her debut for Spain in November 2025. She has been a part of the team that won the UEFA Women’s Nations League and has also scored multiple goals in World Cup qualifying matches.
