Around 2,000 devotees are expected to participate in the yatra, with Raths and Jhankis.
Delhi’s traffic is set to be disrupted between 1 pm and 7 pm on Tuesday, September 1, due to the Janmashtami Shobha Yatra. The procession, featuring around 2,000 devotees, will traverse DBG Road, Ajmal Khan Road and surrounding areas. Due to the large gathering, motorists may encounter congestion and slowed traffic during this time.
The traffic police have advised commuters to avoid these routes or use alternatives like Mathura Road, Akbar Road, and Niti Marg. They have also urged people to plan their schedules in advance, follow traffic instructions, and cooperate with management during the event.
