Couldn't enrol for EPF? Act by October 31 under EEC

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched a new campaign, Employees' Enrolment Campaign (EEC 2026), to help salaried employees who missed being enrolled in the EPF scheme by their employers. This campaign is open until October 31, 2026, and offers a one-time chance for employees to rectify historical non-compliances.

To be eligible for EEC 2026, employees must have been required to be covered under the EPF Act between April 1, 2009, and March 31, 2026, but were not enrolled by their employers. Employers are responsible for covering their share of the employee's EPF contribution with interest, as per the EPF scheme. This campaign is voluntary for employers and does not require employees to contribute anything.
