Chargers sign Justin Herbert's brother to practice squad

The Los Angeles Chargers have added Patrick Herbert, the brother of starting quarterback Justin Herbert, to their practice squad. Patrick, who was previously with the Jacksonville Jaguars, was waived by the team and has now signed with the Chargers to join his older sibling. Patrick, who went undrafted after six seasons with the Oregon Ducks, signed a reserve/future contract with Jacksonville in January 2026.

The Chargers aim to bolster their roster with Patrick's addition, as Justin Herbert, their league-leading quarterback, enters his seventh season with the team.
