São Paulo - Redha Salman, deputy general manager of Alzaeem, visited Brazil last week for business meetings related to the Halal do Brasil project. During the business matchmaking event, Salman expressed his interest in purchasing fresh chicken from Brazilian suppliers. He revealed that Alzaeem currently imports 45 containers of chicken cuts monthly, with each container weighing between 800 grams to 1.3 kilograms.
Alzaeem aims to buy fresh frozen chicken for processing at its plants in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, as well as for distribution in the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, and potential entry into North African markets under the Alzaeem brand. During his visit, Salman was part of a delegation representing six Arab food companies who were invited by the Halal do Brasil Project, organized by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), to meet with Brazilian food companies, visit food plants in Paraná, and attend the Brazil & Arab Countries Economic Forum.
