Asus Vivobook Pro 14 Series Gets New AMD Variant With 27-Hour Battery

Asus has introduced a new AMD-powered version of its Vivobook Pro 14 laptop in China. This model features the Ryzen AI 9 H 465 processor, a high-resolution OLED display, and a longer battery life. The Ryzen AI 9 H 465 processor, based on AMD's Zen 5 architecture, boasts 10 cores and 20 threads, capable of reaching speeds up to 5.0GHz.

It also includes integrated Radeon 880M graphics and an XDNA NPU for AI tasks. The laptop's display is a 14-inch OLED panel with a 2,880 × 1,800 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers a peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits and is certified by DisplayHDR 1000.

The laptop is compact, measuring just 17.9mm thick and weighing around 1.39kg. It is equipped with an 80Wh battery that can provide up to 27 hours of battery life, and it can reach a 50% charge in just 30 minutes. Asus uses its IceCool Pro cooling system, featuring a 75mm fan, heat pipe, and copper cooling fins, to manage the laptop's temperature.

The laptop includes two USB-A 3.2 ports, one USB4 Type-C port, and another USB-C 3.2 port. It also has HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Ryzen model uses USB4, while the Intel version comes with Thunderbolt 4. The Ryzen configuration is priced $45 lower than the Intel Core Ultra 7 356H-powered version, which uses the former processor. In China, the Ryzen edition with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage costs around $1,115. Asus has not disclosed international pricing or availability for this specific configuration.
