Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri to join Borussia Dortmund on loan

Borussia Dortmund is considering purchasing Polish attacking midfielder Marcel Regula as an alternative to loaning Ethan Nwaneri, according to Polish outlet Meczyki.pl. The 19-year-old is reportedly nearing a deal with both Zagłębie Lubin and Dortmund, though the transfer is not yet finalized. Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri remains among the other potential options under consideration.

Regula, who has previously been linked with Dortmund, has attracted interest from Cologne as well, with the latter exploring a move amid uncertainty surrounding Said El Mala's future. The Poland U21 international is estimated to be worth around €7m, with a potential transfer fee of approximately €8m. Dortmund's interest in Regula comes as they re-enter the summer transfer market following the serious knee injury to Giannis Konstantelias.

The club is currently weighing Regula against other late window options before making a final decision.
