Al debutto il nuovo treno notturno Milano-Bruxelles di European Sleeper

European Sleeper, a Dutch-Belgian rail company, will launch its new direct overnight train service between Milan, Cologne, and Brussels starting September 9, 2026. Previously, the company operated services between Brussels, Berlin-Prague, and Paris-Berlin, each three times a week. The service, which allows for reservations since June 2, 2026, will connect Northern Italy with Belgium for the first time without changing trains.

Departures from Milano Porta Garibaldi on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays will be at 17:12, with an arrival in Brussels at 11:25 the next morning. Brussels departures will be at 17:22, arriving in Milan at 11:30 the next day. The return service from Brussels to Milan will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The service will be operated without changing trains, with the journey crossing Switzerland on the San Gottardo line, stopping at Como San Giovanni, Lugano, Bellinzona, Arth-Goldau, Göschenen, and Aarau before proceeding to Cologne and arriving in Brussels the following morning.

The company will celebrate the debut of the new Milan-Brussels connection with a launch event on September 9 at Milano Porta Garibaldi station. Two types of tickets are available: Budget at 29.99 euros per person for a seat, and Classic cuccetta sleeper cabins starting at 49.99 euros, including baggage and bedding. For those seeking more comfort, options include Comfort Standard at 99.99 euros and Comfort Plus at 129.99 euros, the latter including breakfast.

Tickets for travel up to March 18, 2027, are already available on European Sleeper's Italian website, with bookings open until September 1, 2027, via international sales partners.

The service will extend to Antwerp, Breda, and Eindhoven starting December 14, 2026, with additional stops in Switzerland, including Aarau replaced by Zürich, just 30 minutes away. European Sleeper, established in 2023, is entirely owned by its supporters and dedicated exclusively to overnight trains between major European destinations.

The company has transported over 300,000 passengers and conducted more than 980 overnight trains through Europe since its first departure. The mission of European Sleeper is to expand the network of night trains across Europe.
